I’m Kaspar, a senior product designer who stays for the build.

I’ve worked in design for a decade. Today I focus on regulated and technical products where the flow is hard to explain or the team needs a decision more than another set of screens.

A few things I believe

Start with the real constraint

Legal requirements, engineering limits and customer anxiety are part of the design, not problems to hide from it.

Make the promise agree with the product

The ad, landing page and onboarding should feel like one experience. A good promise should survive after sign-in.

Stay through implementation

I work directly with engineers, review the build and learn from release data. A handoff is not the finish line.

The short version

I co-founded two companies early in my career, then worked across marketing and product design. That path taught me to look beyond the interface: how a product is found, explained, built and improved.

My work includes embedded roles at Monefit, Lightyear, Veriff, Katana and Glassity, alongside select independent projects through Polaround.

I like direct collaboration, difficult flows and work that reaches customers. Outside the project, I split my time between Tallinn and London.

What founding companies taught me

Cody

I co-founded and led Cody, a platform that taught young people the basics of Python through short exercises in code completion, debugging and recall. As CEO, I shaped the product concept and pitched it to partners, mentors and competition judges.

Cody reached the top 10 of Ajujaht from 309 applicants, won the City of Tartu Special Prize and took first place at the NGAL International Business Competition. Read the University of Tartu coverage.

Spoony

I co-founded Spoony, a student company that made a chocolate spoon that dissolves into hot milk. I led marketing and business strategy as we brought the product to market and sold more than 20,000 units.

Spoony was named Estonia’s Student Company of the Year in 2016 from a field of 299 companies. Building it made the connection between product, positioning, sales and execution tangible.
